Phillip ll von Hessen-Rheinfels 
Phillip ll was born in 1541. Phillip ll's father was Philip l von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Christine von Sachsen. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm ll von Hessen-Kassel and Yolande von Lorraine. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Wilhelm lV, Phillip Ludwig, Ludwig lll, Georg l, Agnes, Anna, Barbara, Elisabeth and Christine. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 42 in 1583.
