Ludwig lll von Hessen-Marburg 
Ludwig lll was born in 1537. Ludwig lll's father was Philip l von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Christine von Sachsen. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm ll von Hessen-Kassel and Yolande von Lorraine. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Wilhelm lV, Phillip Ludwig, Phillip ll, Georg l, Agnes, Anna, Barbara, Elisabeth and Christine. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 67 in 1604.
