Georg von Hessen 
Georg was born in 1691. Georg's father was Karl von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Maria Amalia Kettler von Kurland. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Vl von Hessen-Kassel and Hedwig Sophie von Brandenburg. He had nine brothers and four sisters, named Wilhelm, Karl, Friedrich l, Christian, Karl, Wilhelm Vlll, Leopold, Ludwig, Maximilian, Sofie, Marie Luise, Eleonore and Wilhelmine Charlotte. He was the third youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 64 in 1755.
