Foulques Taillefer 
Foulques was born about 1015 in Of, Angouleme, Charente, France.1 Foulques' father was Geoffrey Taillefer and his mother was Petronille De Archaic. His paternal grandparents were Guillaume Taillefer and Gerberga von Anjou; his maternal grandparents were Mainard (Le Riche) Archaic and Hildegarde. He had four brothers and a sister, named Geoffrey, Arnold (Arnaud), Guillaume, Aymar (Ademar) and Humberge. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in 1087.1 -
