George R. Slayton 
George R. was born in March 1888.1 George R.'s father was Cyrus E Slayton and his mother was (Missouri) Martha Dowell. His paternal grandparents were Daniel W. Slayton and Mary Shiltz; his maternal grandparents were Lindsey Dowell and Susan. He had a brother and three sisters, named Hiram, Blanche, Olivia M and Bessie. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named George, Nathan, Blanche, Ollivia and Bessie.1 -
