Eleanor was born about 1463 in Medmenham, Buckinghamshire, England.1 Eleanor's father was Geoffrey Pole and her mother was Edith Saint John. Her paternal grandfather was Richard Pole; her maternal grandparents were Oliver Saint John and Margaret Beauchamp. She had a brother named Richard. She was the younger of the two children.1 -
