Edith was born about 1430 in Of, Bletsoe, Bedfordshire, England.1 Edith's father was Oliver Saint John and her mother was Margaret Beauchamp. Her paternal grandparents were John Saint John and Elizabeth De Umfreville; her maternal grandparents were John Beauchamp and Edith Stourton. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Oliver, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret and Agnes. She was the third oldest of the seven children.1 -
