Joseph Phelps 
Joseph was born on November 13th, 1628 in Crewkerne, Somerset, England.1 Joseph's father was William Phelps and his mother was Anne Dover. His paternal grandfather was William Phelps. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Cornelius, Timothy William, Mary, Mary, Sarah and Mary. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers named William, Samuel and Nathaniel. He died before March 5th, 1684 in Simsbury, Connecticut.1 -
