Joan Pelham 
Joan was born about 1454 in Of, Laughton, Sussex, England.1 Joan's father was John Pelham and her mother was Joan De Courcy. Her paternal grandparents were John Pelham and Joan Escures. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, William, Thomas, Catherine and Cicelia. She was the youngest of the six children.1
