Jenkin Mathew 
Jenkin was born about 1446 in Of Llandaf, Cibwr, Glamorgan, Wales.1 Jenkin's father was Dafydd Mathew and his mother was Gwenllian Verch Dafydd. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named John, Rimron, William "Fawr", Thomas, David, William "Leia", Morgan, Margred, Ellen and Jane. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.1
