Ellen Mathew 
Ellen was born about 1445 in Llandaff, Glamorgan, Wales.1 Ellen's father was Dafydd Mathew and her mother was Gwenllian Verch Dafydd. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John, Rimron, William "Fawr", Thomas, David, Jenkin, William "Leia", Morgan, Margred and Jane. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children.1
