Hugh De Grentmesnil

Hugh was born about 1032 in Of, , Normandie, France.¹   Hugh's father was Robert De Grentmesnil and his mother was Hawise De Eschauffen.  His paternal grandfather was Gervase De Grentmesnil; his maternal grandparents were Giroie De Eschauffen and Gisele von Montfort. He had two brothers and a sister, named Robert, Arnold and Adeliza.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died on February 22nd, 1098.¹
