John H. Chapman 
John H. was born on May 27th, 1855.1 John H.'s father was Enoch Chapman and his mother was Nancy M. Bryant. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Chapman and Gemina Cantrell; his maternal grandparents were Reuben Bryant and Sallie Whidley. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Rufus M., Marcus D., Marshall Y., Chesterfield J., William Jackson "Dr. Bill", Baby Boy, Perry M., Baby Boy, Polly Ann, Rosa A., Hester A. and Memory A.. He was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 73 in January 1929.1 -
