John Andrew was born on March 27th, 1843 in Elbert County, Georgia, USA.1 John Andrew's father was James Early Brown and his mother was Nancy E. McCurry. His paternal grandparents were John Brown and Mary (Polly) Strathman; his maternal grandparents were John G. McCurry and Sarah McCurry. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Russell D., William Isom, James Early, Luther M., Thomas Vandiver, Mary H., Sarah C. and Frances (Fannie) M.. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 85 on May 22nd, 1928 in Hartwell, Hart County, Georgia, USA.1 -
