Jakob Ankelin 
Jakob was born on July 19th, 1585.1 Jakob's father was Balthasar Ankelin and his mother was Anna Muttershen. His paternal grandparents were Balthasar Ankelin and Anna Friederich. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Balthasar, Johannis, Salamo, Margret, Maria, Anna, Marthe, Maria and Salome. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.1
