Balthasar Ankelin 
Balthasar was born on March 20th, 1580 in Reutlingen.1 Balthasar's father was Balthasar Ankelin and his mother was Anna Muttershen. His paternal grandparents were Balthasar Ankelin and Anna Friederich. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Jakob, Johannis, Salamo, Margret, Maria, Anna, Marthe, Maria and Salome. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 1 in January 1579 in Reutlingen.1
