Ludwig I von Wittlesbach 
Ludwig I was born on December 23rd, 1174 in Kelheim, Niederbayern, Bavaria. Ludwig I's father was Otto II von Wittlesbach and his mother was Agnes von Looz. His paternal grandparents were Otto I von WIttlesbach and Helika of Burg-Lengenfeld; his maternal grandparents are Ludwig von Looz and Agnes De Metz. He had four sisters named Richarde, Sofie, Heilica I and Agnes. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 56 on September 15th, 1231.General Notes
