Mathilde von Sponheim

Mathilde was born about 1124 in Burg Sponheim, Westphalia, Germany.  Mathilde's father was Meinhard Graf von Sponheim and her mother is Mathilde von Morsburg.  Her paternal grandparents are Stefan I Graf von Sponheim and Sofie von Hamm; her maternal grandparents are Adalbert von Morsburg and Mechtild De Montbeliard. She had a brother named Gottfried I Graf.  She is the younger of the two children.

They had a daughter named Sophie.
