Gottfried I Graf von Sponheim

Gottfried I Graf was born in 1115 in Burg Sponheim, Westphalia, Germany.  Gottfried I Graf's father was Meinhard Graf von Sponheim and his mother is Mathilde von Morsburg.  His paternal grandparents are Stefan I Graf von Sponheim and Sofie von Hamm; his maternal grandparents are Adalbert von Morsburg and Mechtild De Montbeliard. He had a sister named Mathilde.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 34 in 1149.
