Margaret De was born about 1326.  Margaret De's father was William De La Pole and her mother was Katherine De Norwich.  Her maternal grandparents are Walter De Norwich and Katherine Hedersett. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Michael De, Walter De, Thomas De, Edmund De, Blanche De and Catherine De.  She is the oldest of the seven children.
