Alexander Home 
Alexander was born in 1384 in Home, Berwickshire, Scotland. Alexander's father was Thomas De Home and his mother was Nicola Pepdie. His paternal grandfather was Galfridus De Home; his maternal grandfather is Alasdair Pepdie. He had two brothers and a sister, named David, Patrick and Elizabeth. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 40 on August 17th, 1424 in Vernuel, France.General Notes

" ... kinsmen ... fought against [kinsmen] and Harry Percy at the
sanguinary battle of Homildon, where their chief, Sir Alexander Home, was
taken prisoner. On r egaining his leberty he accompanied the Earl of
Douglas (Shakespeare's Earl, nicknamed Tineman) to France, shared in his
triumphs and disasters, and fell along with him at the battle of
Verneuil, in 1424, where the Scottish auxilia ries were almost
annihilated."
