Rebecca was born on September 20th, 1788 in Leacock Twp, Lancaster Co, PA. Rebecca's father was William Hamilton and her mother was Maria Barbara Keighler. Her paternal grandparents were William Hamilton and Jean McIlvaine. She had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, James, Mary and Jane. She was the third oldest of the six children. She had two half-sisters named Mary and Sarah P. She died at the age of 64 in 1852 in Jefferson Co, OH.General Notes
