Flaad FitzAlan 
Flaad was born about 1046 in Dol-de-Bretagne, Ille-et-Vilaine, France. Flaad's father was Alan Fleance and his mother is Nesta verch Gruffydd. He had three brothers named Robert, Rhiwallon and Alan. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died in 1110.General Notes

Flaad, was confirmed circa 1097 a grant by his brother Alan of a site for
the Abbey Mezuoit attached to the Church of St Florent De Saumur. Flaad
was on the Welsh border circa 1101.
They had a son named Alan.

Alan was born in 1078 in Dol-de-Bretagne, Ille-et-Vilaine, France and his baptism took place in Strophshire, England. He died at the age of 36 in 1114 in Norfolk, England. He was buried in Sporle Priory.
