Maguerite was born about 1194 in Brie, Marne, France. Maguerite's father was Pierre II De Courtenay and her mother was Yolande De Flanders. Her paternal grandparents are Pierre I De Courtenay and UNKNOWN Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin VIII De Hainault and Marguerite De Lorraine. She had four sisters named Yolanda, Agnes, Marie and Eleanor. She was the oldest of the five children. She died on July 17th, 1270.General Notes
