Phillip De Braose 
Phillip was born about 1128 in Bramber, Sussex, England. Phillip's father was Philip De Braose and his mother is Aenor De Totnais. His paternal grandparents were William De Braose and Eve De Boessey; his maternal grandparents are Judeal Jobel De Totenais and ? De Pecguifny. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Basilia. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died about 1201.General Notes

Philip was left in charge of Wexford when Henry II left Ireland in 1172. L
ater that year he received a grant of North Munster ( without the Ci
ty of Limerick) but was unable to take possession.
Philip was Governor of Ireland (Procurator) from 1 Sep 1184 to 25 April 11
85 (when Prince John became Governor)
