Jr. Sargent was born on April 7th, 1916 in Friday Harbor, Washington. Jr. Sargent's father was Van Eugene Sargent and his mother was Elizabeth Jean Busby. His paternal grandparents were Herbert Eugene Sargent and Mary Gould. He had two sisters named Edith Louise and Ruth Marianne. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 86 on August 21st, 2002 in Ferndale, Washington. He was buried in Green Acres Cemetery, Enterprise Road, Ferndale, Washington.-
