Herbert Eugene Sargent 
Herbert Eugene was born on October 15th, 1852 in Croydon, New Hampshire. Herbert Eugene's father was Americus Vespucius Sargent and his mother was Mary H. Whipple. His paternal grandparents were Enoch Sargent and Lydia Littlehall. He had four brothers named Van Buren Whipple, George W., James Wellington and Alberti Whipple. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 69 on July 30th, 1922 in Friday Harbor, Washington.-
