James Wellington Sargent 
James Wellington was born on August 5th, 1847 in Sunapee, New Hampshire. James Wellington's father was Americus Vespucius Sargent and his mother was Mary H. Whipple. His paternal grandparents were Enoch Sargent and Lydia Littlehall. He had four brothers named Van Buren Whipple, George W., Herbert Eugene and Alberti Whipple. He is the third oldest of the five children.-
