John was born about 1813 in Salisbury, New Hampshire.. John's father was Ezra Tucker and his mother was Judith Burbank. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Tucker and Lydia Stevens. He had four brothers and six sisters, named George W., Oliver N., Dan S., Nathan, Elise, Lydia, Martha M., Judith, Alice and Sophronia. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died on May 14th, 1852 in Dover, New Hampshire..General Notes
