Wealthy was born about 1846 in Vermont. Wealthy's father was Samuel Straw and her mother was Mary Griffin. Her paternal grandparents were John Straw and Mary Molly Emerson. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Cyrus Griffith, Sylvester, Franklin Sargent, William, Mary, Elisa, Sally B., Elvira, Meltham, Ambrosia and Hannah. She died on January 8th, 1914 in Indianola, Iowa.-
