Sargent Straw 
Sargent was born on July 1st, 1783 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Sargent's father was John Straw and his mother was Mary Molly Emerson. His paternal grandparents were Moses Straw and Elizabeth Colby. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Samuel, Daniel J., Moses, Sarah, Polly, Hannah, Eliza and Lucy. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 88 on September 16th, 1871 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire.-
