Daniel J. Straw 
Daniel J. was born on March 27th, 1801 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Daniel J.'s father was John Straw and his mother was Mary Molly Emerson. His paternal grandparents were Moses Straw and Elizabeth Colby. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Sargent, Samuel, Moses, Sarah, Polly, Hannah, Eliza and Lucy. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 on December 29th, 1888 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire.-
