Theophilus Sargent

Theophilus was born in 1720 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. Theophilus' father was Jacob Sargent and his mother was Judith Harvey. His paternal grandparents were William Sargent and Mary Colby; his maternal grandmother was Sarah Barnes. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Winthrop, Jacob, John, Judith, Sarah, Elizabeth, Dorothy and Tabiatha. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 87 on September 23rd, 1807 in Candia, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.
