William Barnes 
William was born in 1613 in England. William's father was Thomas Barnes and his mother was Philippa Verdon. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Barnes and Elizabeth Heyward; his maternal grandparents were Richard Verdon and Elizabeth Burchette. He had a brother named Thomas. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 84 on March 14th, 1697 in Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts.General Notes
