Sumner Bodwell Sargent 
Sumner Bodwell was born on December 15th, 1838 in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Sumner Bodwell's father was Sumner Sargent and his mother is Mary A. Leach. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Sargent and Abigail Ladd. He had two brothers and three sisters, named George William, John Fred, Mary E., Grace L. and Abby Ladd. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 25 on May 27th, 1864 in Calcutta. India.-
