Sumner Sargent 
Sumner was born on July 7th, 1805 in Lyndeboro, New Hampshire. Sumner's father was Joshua Sargent and his mother was Abigail Ladd. His paternal grandparents were John Sargent and Mary Tucker. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Herman Ladd, John, Joshua, Bodwell, Nathaniel, Abigail, Miriam, Polly, Ruth, Lucinda and Miriam. He was the youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 87 on February 12th, 1893 in Lowell, Massachusetts.-
