Mary Ann was born on July 10th, 1806 in Amesbury, Essex County, Massachusetts. Mary Ann's father was Nehemiah Sargent and her mother was Sarah Copp. Her paternal grandparents were Nehemiah Sargent and Mary Hoyt. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John Copp, Isaac, Nehemiah, Simeon C., Sarah and Jerusha. She had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Amos, William, Benjamin, Jeremiah Augustus, Lois and Dorothy. She died at the age of 78 in 1884 in Morenci, Lenawee County, Michigan. She was buried in Grove Cemetery in East St. Johnsbury, Vermont..General Notes

yesterday in East St Johnsbury, Vt and wondered what
was your source. Could she have died in Michigan and
been buried in Vermont??? ..OR.. Is this cemetery
lot just a sort of family history in stone erected by
Mary's grandaughter, Effie???
The Lot consists of a monument bearing DREW on one
side and EVANS on the other. Mary and her husband the
Rev Jacob Evans have small flat in-ground markers on
the DREW side. Her son Moody, his wife, his two
daughters, and his son-in-law (Edwin E Drew) have
identical flat markers on the EVANS side.
