Chauncy Norris was born on March 11th, 1864 in Potton, Brome, Quebec, Canada. Chauncy Norris' father was Simon Sargent and his mother was Eunice A. Esty. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Sargent and Susan Aiken. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named James Monroe, Daniel Madison, Franklin Simon, Oscar Eugene, Ashley Elwood, Jesse Mark, Clarence G, Cora A. and Abbie E.. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 74 on March 12th, 1938.-
