Bradley Varnum Sargent 
Bradley Varnum was born on August 11th, 1828 in Thornton, New Hampshire. Bradley Varnum's father was Jacob Sargent and his mother was Martha Webster. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Sargent and Mary Pattee. He had seven brothers and a sister, named Joseph Webster, John Rogers, Jacob Livermore, Roswell Chapman, James Battee, Belton Webster, Andrew Jackson and Martha H.. He was the second youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 64 in February 1893 in Monterey, California.-
