John Leon Colby 
John Leon was born on July 17th, 1879 in McIndoes, Vermont. John Leon's father was Frederick Heauland Colby and his mother was Roxana J. Gilfillian. His paternal grandparents were Levi Colby and Hannah Farson. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Colby, Colby, Ira B., James Tracy, Martha and Ellen. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 22 on April 9th, 1902 in Monroe, New Hampshire.-
