George Edward Colby 
George Edward was born in 1882 in Minnesota. George Edward's father was Orson Colby and his mother was Mary Ann Alvey. His paternal grandparents were Abner Colby and Mary Louisa Lindsay. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Charles C., William, Burdette Louis, Harry, Roy, Harriet, Mary L., Caroline, Bessie A., Sarah and Lillian I.. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 67 on August 17th, 1949 in Mapleton Minnesota.-
