Claude Christian was born on July 13th, 1881 in Thorp, Clark County, Wisconsin. Claude Christian's father was William Colby and his mother was Eliza Clarisa Eddy. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Corliss Colby and Sarah Ann Pettigrove. He had two brothers and a sister, named Corliss Thomas, Guy W. and Hattie C.. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 64 on April 20th, 1946 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin.-
