Alfred Colby 
Alfred was born on August 25th, 1828 in Dunbarton, New Hampshire. Alfred's father is Nathaniel Colby and his mother is Hepzibah Woodbury. His paternal grandparents were Archelaus Colby and Jemima Johnson; his maternal grandparents were Hezadiah Woodbury and Hepsebeth Colby. He had five brothers and a sister, named James W., Nathaniel J., Nathaniel L., Lyman Woodbury, Moses and Elizabeth A.. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 65 in July 1894 in Dunbarton, New Hampshire.-
