Silas Donald Chatfield 
Silas Donald was born on July 21st, 1843 in Marengo, McHenry, Illinois. Silas Donald's father was Oliver Chatfield and his mother was Charlotte Kimball. His maternal grandparents were Daniel Kimball and Sarah. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Solon, Nelson, Jr Chatfield P, Lowell Alfred, Fremont, Louisa, Martha, Jane, Charlotte, Laura Sarah, Josephine and Cornelia. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 67 on November 29th, 1910 in Marengo, McHenry, Illinois.
