John was born on June 15th, 1887. John's father was Daruis Bills and his mother was Elizabeth Miley Kelly. His paternal grandparents were Alvah Bills and Julia Sheldon. He had two brothers named Spencer and Almon. He died at the age of 75 on October 8th, 1962 in Brookside Cemetery, Fairgorve, Michigan.-
