Julia and Alvah were married in a religious ceremony in 1839 in Nankin Twp., Wayne, Mi. They had nine sons and two daughters, named Charles Henry, Warren Eugene, Hiram, Ezra, Elias, Daruis, William, Asa, George W., Diana and Hulda.
