Daniel III was born on February 28th, 1821 in Port Hope, Northumberland Co., ON, Canada.1 Daniel III's father is Daniel II Carr and his mother was Jane "Jinny" Diamond. His paternal grandfather was Daniel I Carr; his maternal grandparents were John Diamond and Christiana Loyst. He was an only child.
