Richard Bruce 
Richard was born about 1249 in Annandale, Dumfrieshire, Scotland. Richard's father was Robert "The Competitor" Bruce and his mother was Isabel De Clare. His paternal grandparents were Robert De Bruce and Isabella Huntingdon; his maternal grandparents were Gilbert De Clare and Isabel Mareschal. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Bernard, William, John, Robert, Christiana and Alosia. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died before January 26th, 1286.General Notes
