Sarah Runyan

Sarah was born in 1811 in Penn Yan, Yates, New York, USA.¹   Sarah's father was Benjamin Runyan.  Her paternal grandparents are John Runyan and Showers. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Nathaniel, Benjamin, Henry, John Gilderoy, Milo Augustus, Sabrina, Sabra, Melissa, Harriet, Millie and Mary.  She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children.  She died at the age of 71 on August 29th, 1882.¹
