Fanny was born in 1835 in Collins, Erie, NY, USA.1 Fanny's father was Benjamin Albee. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Albee and Abigail Thompson. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Horace, James, John C, Henry, Adolphus, Enoch, Allen, Hannah, Lydia, Prudence, Sarah and Emily. She is the third youngest of the thirteen children.-
